Eric Lichter
Co-founder
Eric grew up in Arizona where he attended Mesa Dobson high school and was a 3 year letterman in football earning 1st all state honors in his senior year. He also lettered in track and field and was the district champion in the shot put as a senior. He played college football at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah where he graduated with a B.S Degree in Exercise Science.
Eric built his reputation in the private sector as a top speed and performance enhancement coach preparing both NFL and NBA draft hopefuls for the draft process and the tests administered at both sports respective combines. Eric has trained 2 Heisman Trophy winners (Ron Dayne & Troy Smith) , 2 Jim Thorpe Award winners (Malcolm Jenkins & Coby Bryant) and over 20 First-Round draft picks in the NFL & NBA including LeBron James, Nene, Ted Ginn Jr, Nate Clements, Donte Whitner and Chris “Beanie” Wells. Other notable former clients include Maurice Clarett, London Fletcher, Nate Clements, LeCharles Bentley and Joe Jurevicius.
Multiple athletes who trained under Eric’s speed programs have clocked in the 4.3s in the 40-yard dash at the NFL combine. Olympic sprinters Eric Harrison and Anavia Battle have trained under Eric’s guidance as well as the all time state of Ohio, 100 meter dash record holder Troy Lane. Both Harrison and Battle were track stars at The Ohio State University and ran in the Tokyo Olympics. Troy Lane is one of the most exciting young track sprinters in the country and is an olympic hopeful.
In 2006, Eric left the private sector and went into collegiate athletics where he served as the Director of Football Performance at The Ohio State University under Jim Tressel and was a part of 5 Big Ten Championships, 5 wins over Michigan, 2 National Title game appearances, and wins in both the Rose Bowl and the Sugar Bowl Championships.
Eric co founded Plus 2 University with Cardale Jones in 2019 and has built one of the top speed training destinations in the country. Track sprinters and field athletes are coming from all over the US to work with coach Lichter and the world class technology that Plus 2 University offers.
Eric holds certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS), The National Academy of Sports Medicine (CPT) and The National Academy of Speed and Explosion (CSS).
CARDALE JONES
Co-founder
Cardale Jones captivated millions and millions of sports fans in 2014 – 2015 as he led the Ohio State University Buckeyes football team to the first ever College Football Playoff National Championship after starting the season third on the depth chart behind Braxton Miller and J.T Barrett. After they both went down with season ending injuries, Ohio State turned to Cardale and the rest is history.
Brock Meadows
Director of Operations
Brock has worked in the fitness, sport performance, and nutrition field for over twenty years. He played college football, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Business Enterprise and Marketing. He is a certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the NSCA since 1999. Brock has created, operated and owned multiple fitness and performance facilities where he trained elite collegiate and professional athletes. His knowledge and work as a coach and business owner has expanded to building successful systems and operations that support winning results.
MIKE LIPPERT
Performance Coach
Mike and his wife Megan have two children and reside in Upper Arlington, Ohio.
Mike Lippert spent 17 years as an educator in Ohio and has been a long-time high school assistant & head lacrosse coach with multiple state championships being won during those years. Mike has helped develop many all-state and all-american players in the sport of lacrosse. Currently, Mike serves as an assistant varsity lacrosse coach at Upper Arlington high school and runs their youth programming.
Mike holds a certification through The National Academy of Sports Medicine (CPT).
ANTHONY FAIN
Head Track Coach, Performance Coach
Coach Anthony “Amp” Fain’s love for competitive sports began at an early age. He ran track and played football for Chilicothe High School. Anthony has coached multiple Junior Olympic sprinters as a youth track coach and is the head coach for Plus 2 University’s track team / program. . Additionally, Anthony competed at a high level in natural body building and had a 1st place finish at a national show and 4 other top 5 finishes. Anthony is working toward his CSCS credential.
Anthony is a Certified Speed Specialist (CSS) through the National Association of Speed & Explosion (NASE).
SAMANTHA MYERS
Performance Coach
Sammy is a Senior at Olentangy Orange High School, and the Delaware Area Career Center where she is in the exercise science program. She is a 4 year letterman for field hockey, a two year captain, and has received 2 first team all league west awards. She is a Certified Speed Specialist (CSS) through the National Association of Speed & Explosion and is a Certified Group Fitness Instructor through the American Council on Exercise (ACE).
TEVION JOHNSON
Performance Coach
Tevion was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He attended Murry Bergtraum High School where he was a standout in track and field and basketball. He went on to attend college at Syracuse University where he graduated as a double major, with a B.A. degree in political science & writing. He then earned his Masters degree from Syracuse University in communications.
Tevion holds a certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (CPT) and is currently pursuing a certification from The National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS).
QUINN ERNST
Performance Coach
Quinn Ernst was a multi sport athlete in high school. It was through playing sports that he developed his passion for performance training. Quinn graduated from The Ohio State University in December 2021 with a B.S. degree in Exercise Science.
Quinn holds certifications through USA Weightlifting (Level 1 olympic lifts) and is currently studying to become certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS).
ANDREW SNYDER
Performance Coach
Drew is a graduate of Olentangy Orange High school, where he played lacrosse and lettered as a freshman. He currently attends The Ohio State University where he is working on earning his B.S. in exercise science. Drew started out as an intern at P2 and has worked his way into a paid position. He is very dedicated to learning, growing and helping youth athletes improve and learn to train properly. He has a passion for weight lifting and has become a key operator of Plus 2’s 1080 sprints and other technology. Drew is one of athlete youth coaches as well as managing data entry and quality control for all of P2’s other training offerings.
STEPHEN ROBINSON
Performance Coach , P2 Assistant Track Coach - Sprints
Stephen was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. He attended Trotwood Madison HS where he was All State in Track and Field. He attended The Ohio State University where he earned a B.A. in Criminology. While at OSU he was a 6 time Big Ten Champion in Track and Field; specializing as a short sprinter. Stephen now lives in Blacklick, Oh along with his wife and 3 children. Additionally, Stephen coaches Sprints at Pickerington Central HS.
